Heey!
I would like to start, telling how we had this idea.
I'm a english student for a long years... and, this has been a really hardy way until the end... By the way, I'm still in the middle of the way...
Fernanda, my sister, studied english for a couple of months, and couldn't study anymore (because she lost his job, and married, and move out far away). But, she is a very smart young lady, and she learn a lot just because she isn't shy to try (at all).
So, sometimes, we chat by e-mail in english.
Nowaday, I'm a little obsessed by blogs, so, I had a idea to start to write a blog just in english.
I think this will be very good, to us, to notice how we are improving our skills.
I know we still have a loooot to learn. But, helping each other, this become easiest, right?!
I have saved some chats betwen me and Fê, and soon I'll post them.

Listening

A good way to practice your listen, is to watch a movie what you already know the history, without the subtitles. Today, I'm watching "Holiday", and this movie is great to notice the diferences between the american and the brit way to speak.. I prefer the brit way... to me, sounds more clear. And this movie is so cute! I love it!

Old sister

Fernanda is my old sister. When I born she was 1 and a half years old... We grown up together, and when we were childs, we didn't get along... Fernanda was very evil! Yes, she was! I remember one time when I locked myself at bathroom, because she was trying to hit me! I don't remeber why, probably for nothing... Well, now I'm taller than she, so, she doesn't try to hit anymore. Fernanda felt in love by one friend of mine, André. One day, we were in a bar, and she was a little drunk, suddently, she looked at me and said: "I like you, I don't want to fight with you anymore, let's be friends" I agreed, of course. And then, since when, we didn't had any big fight... So, the fault about the fights when we were childs, is her.

Ending

My english course is ending in next week. This course goes just to intermediate level, where I began, and, unfortunaly is ending now. This time passed so fast. I really liked the course, and my teacher is a so cute teacher! But, I still don't know as much as I would like to. And, I have no idea where I'm going to study now. But I know that I need to learn fast. I do not have time to lose. In begining of the next year, I would like to get a 8 grade in IELTS test. There is a english school next to my job, what have a intensive course with four days a week classes. What, if the taxes where not much expensives, could be good to me. When I started to study english, I choose a school with a 90% conversation. What was the best thing to me. But now, how I want to get proficiency in English, I need to study the grammar a little more. I thing I wrote in another post, how difficult is to me to learn grammar. I really like to study english. Learn is a bif challange to me, and I feel very h...
